Pots that keep
the memory of
every tea you
brew in them.
We carry unglazed zisha from Dingshu, Nixing clay out of Qinzhou, Shan kiln celadon and porcelain from Jingdezhen. Nothing here was bought from a catalogue photo — somebody at this shop has poured water through it.

We pour every pot first
Each teapot gets filled and poured on the bench before it is listed. If the lid rattles, the spout dribbles or the filter chokes, it goes back in the crate.
Clay you can actually trace
Zisha from Huanglongshan, Nixing from the Qin river banks. We list the clay name, the kiln and the maker where the studio permits it.
Packed like it matters
Fitted foam, double wall box, lid tied separately. In nine years we have had four breakages, and we replaced all four.
